The Collection

A lighting system, not a fixture

What Is Track Lighting?

Track lighting is a versatile lighting system that uses a powered track to support multiple adjustable light fixtures. It allows you to easily direct, add, or reposition lights, making it ideal for residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality spaces.

Key Benefits of Track Lighting:

  • Adjustable and customizable lighting
  • Energy-efficient LED options
  • Easy to expand or reconfigure
  • Suitable for a wide range of applications

Magnetic vs. Non-Magnetic

Two systems, one design language

The difference is electrical — how the track is powered and how heads connect to it — and it drives everything else: profile size, flexibility and the way you re-lamp a space.

Magnetic

Runs on 24–48V DC supplied by a remote driver. Because the rail is low-voltage (SELV) it is safe to touch, so heads attach directly to the surface by magnet — lift one off and press it back down anywhere, powered on, no tools or fasteners.

– 24–48V DC, remote constant-voltage driver

–  Heads snap on magnetically, reposition anytime

–  Ultra-slim, minimal profiles (from 6mm)

–  Fully modular: spots, linears, pendants share one rail

Non-magnetic

Classic conductor-rail track running at mains voltage, typically wired as one- or three-circuit. Heads lock mechanically into the rail and are switched or dimmed in independent groups — built for higher loads and heavy-duty, high-traffic installations.

–  Mains voltage, no separate low-voltage driver

–  Heads lock mechanically into the rail

–  1- or 3-circuit: switch/dim groups independently

–  Higher per-head power, durable for retail & galleries

System Types

Size Does Matter.
Magnetic Systems.

Four magnetic profiles — from the near-invisible 1” (6 mm) to the full-depth 1.5” (39 mm) — plus a mains-voltage non-magnetic system. The wider the profile, the higher the output and the broader the module range it carries.

0.25” (6 mm) Magnetic

The thinnest recessed magnetic profile — a near-invisible trimless slot for the most minimal ceilings. 48V DC, ultra-compact heads.

0.4” (10 mm) Magnetic

Ultra-slim 48V DC rail for surface, recessed or suspended mounting — hosting spots, linears and diffused modules on one clean line.

1” (27 mm) Magnetic

The mini architectural profile — straight, circular and curved runs with a 4-line rail supporting 0–10V, TRIAC and DALI control.

1.5” (39 mm) Magnetic

The full-depth profile — highest output and the widest module range, including up-down linears, pendants and sweeping curvy geometries.

Any RAL colour to match a scheme exactly.

System Anatomy

Components of a magnetic track system

Five coordinated parts work together — power, structure, connection and light — so the whole ceiling becomes a flexible platform.

Tracks

The rail that carries power and holds every head — surface, recessed or suspended.

Heads

Spots, linears, wall-washers, pendants and decorative Murano glass fixtures.

Power Feeds

Deliver low-voltage DC from the remote driver into the track at any point.

Connectors & Corners

Join runs into L-shaped, T-shaped and cross-shaped layouts.

Driver & Control

Remote constant-voltage driver plus dimming — 0–10V, DALI, TRIAC.

Track Shapes

Linear, circle or half-circle

Linear

Straight runs, joinable end to end.

Circle

Full rings for feature and ambient light.

Half-circle

Arcs and curvy geometries for sculptural layouts.

T-Connector

Three-way track connector for clean, modular lighting layouts.

Dimming

Control down to a single head

0–10V

Simple analog dimming.

0–10V

Analog zone control.

TRIAC

Phase-cut wall dimmer.

DALI

Individual per-head control.

DALI is the ideal solution for the BYIBA Magnetic Track system — it allows individual dimming control of each track head, so a single run can hold many independently-tuned scenes.

Made to Order

We can customize everything

Optics & output

Beam angle, lumen package and driver specified to project.

Length & geometry

Custom runs — straight, circle and curvy — cut to the layout.

Head configuration

Mix spots, linears, wall-washers, pendants and Murano glass.

Finish & color temperature

Standard, Special Metal, Faux-Wood or Custom RAL; warm to neutral white.

The system is a starting point, not a limit. Track length and geometry, head selection, optics, output, colour temperature, control protocol and finish are all specified per project — so a run is tailored exactly to the space in front of you.

Installation Types

Three ways to mount

The same track adapts to the ceiling condition — sitting on the surface, buried flush, or dropped on suspension.

Surface mounting

Fixed directly to the finished ceiling or wall — the fastest install, ideal for retrofits and exposed structural ceilings.

Recessed mounting

Set into the ceiling for a flush, trimless slot — the cleanest architectural line, plastered edge to edge.

Suspension mounting

Dropped on wires from a high ceiling — brings light closer to the work plane and creates a floating architectural feature.

What's the difference between magnetic and non-magnetic track?

It’s an electrical difference that drives everything else. Magnetic track runs on 24–48V DC from a remote driver, so heads attach directly by magnet and can be repositioned by hand — giving ultra-slim profiles from 6mm. Non-magnetic track runs at mains voltage with heads that lock mechanically into the rail, wired as one- or three-circuit for higher loads and heavy-duty use.

Yes. The rail is low-voltage SELV (24–48V DC), so it is safe to handle even while powered on. That’s what lets you lift a head off and press it back onto the track anywhere, with the system still live — no need to isolate the circuit first.

On magnetic systems, yes — heads snap on and off by hand and can be moved, added or swapped along the rail at any time without tools. A single run can mix spotlights, linears, wall-washers and pendants, and be completely re-lit as the space changes.

The 0.2” (6mm) and 0.4” (10 mm) profiles are the most minimal, near-invisible options for clean ceilings. The 1” (27 mm) is the mini architectural profile, supporting straight, circle and curvy runs. The 1.5” (39 mm) is the full-depth profile with the highest output and widest module range. For heavy-duty retail or gallery use at higher power, the non-magnetic system is the robust choice.

The system supports 0–10V, 1–10V, TRIAC and DALI control. DALI is the ideal solution for the magnetic track, because it allows individual dimming of each head — so one run can hold several independently-tuned scenes.

Three ways: surface-mounted directly to a finished ceiling or wall, recessed into the ceiling for a flush trimless slot, or suspended on wires from a high ceiling to bring light closer to the work plane.

Track and heads come in a Standard matte black or white palette, with Special Metal, warm Faux-Wood and Custom RAL finishes available to blend into — or contrast with — the architecture.

Across commercial and cultural spaces where layouts change and lighting has to adapt — hotels, shops and showrooms, shopping malls, museums and galleries, offices, bars and lounges, cafés, salons and spas, corporate lobbies, and residential interiors.
